Feb Jobs Report 2024. Employers added 275,000 jobs in february, the labor department reported friday, in another month that exceeded expectations even as the unemployment rate rose. Private companies added 140,000 positions for the month, an increase from the upwardly revised 111,000 in january but a bit below the dow jones.
